What you can expect
We are looking for a highly motivated post-doc/clinical research fellow to conduct patient-oriented research projects covering the entire field of stroke medicine with a special focus on intracerebral haemorrhage, cardioembolic stroke and management of anticoagulation in stroke patients.
Your responsabilities:
- Screening, enrolment and follow-up of patients in ongoing clinical research projects
- Maintain and update the stroke registry, ensuring accurate and high-quality data entry
- Collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary research team (including neurologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists, emergency/intensive care specialists, nurses, and coordinators)
- Possibility to design and conduct own research projects with mentoring and support from senior investigators
- Engage with international collaborators and stroke research networks
Your Profile
- Medical degree (MD), with clinical experience in neurology or stroke preferred
- Proven interest in cerebrovascular medicine (prior publications optional)
- Strong sense of responsibility, motivation, and commitment to team-based research
- A transparent, organized, and independent work ethic
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both German and English (minimum B2)
